Highlights from EAGE 2025

Highlights from EAGE 2025.

EAGE 2025 has been a busy and fulfilling week! I had the opportunity to contribute across technical, community, and leadership tracks—grateful to be part of such a dynamic geoscience community.

🎤 Technical Presentations

Two technical talks:

  1. Physics-Driven Self-Supervised Deep Learning for Free-Surface Multiple Elimination
  2. Interpolating Sparse Seismic Data via Horizon-Guided Inverse Distance Weighting

💬 Panel Discussions

I took part in two thought-provoking panel sessions:

  • Moderator: Geoscience Skills Shortage – A Threat for the Energy Transition?
  • Panelist: Earth Science at a Crossroads: Insights from EAGE’s Local Chapters

🪑 Session Chair Roles

I also had the chance to co-chair two technical sessions:

  • Machine Learning for Data Processing – 3
  • Seismic Noise Attenuation

Big thanks to all the collaborators, fellow speakers, and participants who made this year’s EAGE a memorable one. Looking forward to continued conversations and new ideas sparked during the week!
